You can buy Derek Jeter’s game dirt
You read that correctly, people.
Steiner Sports sent representatives to the 30 different Major League ball parks where Jeter played to collect dirt samples. You can shell out $359.99 to get your own collage of the MLB authenticated dirt.
If $360 is way too much for you, you can pay about $40 for a picture of Jeter as Rookie of the Year or a picture of his 3000th hit that also has a little bit of dirt to go with it for good measure.
I don’t really understand the point of having the dirt. It would be cooler if it came from his cleats after each game and was saved over his career, with the dirt from specific milestones being harvested immediately after. But really, why would anyone pay this much for framed dirt?
